Cairnhill Crest is located beside the busy and bustling streets of the city centre. The perimeter of the estate is lined with tall and dense trees that serve as a barrier to noise pollution and give a sense of privacy. However, the landscape of the entire estate was untidy as many shrubs and trees were unkempt.

To rectify the problem, Plant Culture and the managing agent of Cairnhill Crest met up and discussed what should be improved. One of the main concerns was the landscape maintenance of the estate, specifically the trees. Tree pruning was hence the priority as it could post as a hazard to the residents or pedestrians walking by the condominium.

Following up on the internal landscape of the complex, the main concept discussed was recycling the plants that Cairnhill Crest already has. This is done so through propagation and transplanting of existing plants while keeping in mind the actual design of the landscape. This would help save costs for our clients and making the place look good as well.

One of the requirements was to have a monthly change of displayed orchids in each lobby. Following the concept of recycling, the orchids that were changed out are used as an additional floral for the estate. This will beautify and brighten up the estate while saving the cost of purchasing new florals. All in all, the aim is to give a different perspective and sight to the condo by reusing the plants to create a beautiful environment.

Small changes in the landscape will create a different impression of the estate giving a new and refreshing experience for the residents. With that, Cairnhill Crest is now a lush and vibrant environment and a home of biodiversity.
